About Me
Who Am I?
My name is Blake Chambers, and I'm an aspiring Network Engineer. I recently graduated from the Computer Systems Technician – Networking and Cloud technologies program at Niagara College, earning the Deans Academic award for the highest GPA in the School of Technology.
During my time at the College, I’ve gathered valuable hands-on experience working in dynamic environments with both Linux and Windows systems, different hypervisors such as ESXi and Hyper-V, and enterprise-grade networking equipment from Cisco and HP. I've also had the opportunity to work as a peer tutor on behalf of Niagara College, helping my peers understand complex networking and cloud concepts helping improve their academic performance.
Since I've graduated, I've been developing my skills even further by working on projects in my homelab. I am currently studying for my CompTIA Network+ certification and plan to obtain my Security+ certification as well. When I'm not working on project or studying, you can fine me either hiking, reading sci-fi books, or spending time with my girlfriend and family.
